The Black Aesthetic Show starts on Saturday, February 27th from 9:00PM to 10:00PM Eastern / 6:00PM to 7:00PM Pacific.

 

This Black History Month, Bonfire and Martin Morrow present some of the most talented comedians, poets, and musicians followed by a panel answering questions and holding candid conversations about being Black in the arts.

 

With Journalist, Author, Comedian Eunice Elliott as Panel Moderator.

Jasmin Leigh Co Host of Peoples Party with Talib Kweli, seen on Bet+ All the way Black, Comedy Central Roast Battle, and Laff Mobb’s Lafftrack on Tru Tv and HBO Max. Host and Producer of Cool Kids of Comedy.

Will Hatcher Stand Up Comedian, Filmmaker, and Comedy Rapper. Willonius is a man on a mission to create. "I'm like a comedy chef. Funny is my stew." Willonius' began his career in 2006 and immediately started gaining attention on Youtube with his comedic skits such as "Crank Dat Homeless Man", "Puffy is Poison", Confessions of an Internet Thug" and "Got It At Ross" his videos have generated over 25 million hits. Since then he wrote a comedic self help book "Look Like A Man, Act Like A Bitch" directed an award-winning film "The Young & The Thirsty" and runs the Comedy Club on Clubhouse. 

Joe Viba Joe is a Chicago native with a background in musical theater. He’s passionate about travel having visited and performed in nearly 30 countries. Joe has also been a featured soloist on a new musical album about Vincent Van Gogh (Starry) which has accumulated over 3.5 million streams. Joe’s favorite thing to do is to eat cheesecake and watch Naruto or play his guitar.

 

Jamil- Jamil is a Birmingham based poet and spoken word artist.

 

Erica Switzer- Erica Switzer is a Chicago comedian formerly based in Shanghai, China. With her unique energy and raw, biting wit, she recently won the Flappers Comedy Club Soup-or-Bowl and was a featured performer at the 2020 NY Underground Comedy Festival. She has featured for veteran comedians Simeon Goodson, Mateen Stewart, and Justin Rivera and accomplished her first 30-minute headliner in April 2020. Along with founding Hei Now Comedy, China's premier Black comedy crew, Erica made history as the first Black comedian to perform in Mongolia at the inaugural Silk Road International Comedy Festival in July 2019. She is the host of Rampantly's The Big D.

Kaylah Pantaleón- Kaylah Pantaleón is an Afro-Latina born and raised in Yonkers, New York and studied Performing Arts at Emerson College in Boston. She fell in love with writing at an early age, constantly filling one diary after another with stories both truthful and imaginative. After watching her first live play, West Side Story, Kaylah caught the acting bug at 11 years old and would grow up finding ways to combine her love of words and live performance. She soon discovered a passion for spoken word and would use the art as one of her favorite forms of expression. In 2006, Oprah Winfrey held a nationwide high school essay contest which accepted over 50,000 entries and gave only 50 winners the opportunity to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show, along with a $10,000 scholarship to the school of their choice; Kaylah was one of those final 50, representing southwest Yonkers, New York. She has since published a book about her Oprah experience and has gone on to appear in several films and commercials after moving from New York to LA in 2015.
