Meet DJ MkFly
I'm quite spiritual at the core: while on a student-led ministry retreat, I had what one may call an "out-of-body" experience, where I saw myself as an entrepreneur inspiring the world by leveraging my music platform.
At the time, I was working in a corporate job that was draining me of my happiness and vigor, and this moment caused me to be inspired to create a game plan to leave that job in due time and push for my music career head on. It was one of the most freeing moments, yet also scariest moments, in my life. Once that weight was removed from my life, I have felt creative energy like never before, but the nerves have never gone away. I am learning to embrace them now, knowing that each time I stretch my comfort zone and am okay with not being perfect, I am moving forward.
